International Bridges to Justice is seeking applicants for the 2010 JusticeMakers Fellowship. Fellows introduce novel methods of collaborating with police, legal aid communities, and governments to ensure competent legal counsel for ordinary people. Winning applicants earn $5,000, training in Singapore, and a global network of support to help them implement their proposals.
IBJ is funding the 2010 JusticeMakers Fellowship Competition through an i3 Challenge grant from the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at Singapore Management University. There is thus a regional interest in supporting JusticeMakers from Asia. Anyone with an idea, a focus on an Asian community, and knowledge of its criminal justice system is welcome to apply.
