Dien serves as Chief Philanthropy Officer at Give2Asia, a U.S.- based nonprofit that provides philanthropic advisory services to individuals, families, foundations and corporations that care about Asia.
Dien has more than fourteen years of experience in the wealth management, philanthropic planning and non-profit sectors. Before joining Give2Asia, Dien founded Kordant Philanthropy Advisors, a private advisory firm working with Asians and Asian American clients. She formerly served as Vice President & Senior Trust Officer in the Planned Giving Services Group at U.S. Trust. Dien also served as Vice President at Asian Pacific Fund and was Planned Giving Director, NW Ohio of the American Cancer Society.
Her blog, Asian Philanthropy Forum is an attempt to curate global giving trends and the growth of Asia-based philanthropy. Dien also tracks the pulse of Asian American philanthropy in the U.S. on the blog, Asian American Giving.
Dien serves on the advisory boards of Tactical Philanthropy Advisors and Philanthropic Ventures Foundation. She is also an advisor of OneVietnam Network, an online platform that connects people and groups to philanthropic opportunities in Vietnam. In addition, Dien is a member of the NextGen Task Force of the Council on Foundations.
Previously, Dien served on the boards of several non-profit and professional membership organizations, including AAPIP (Asian American Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy) and NCPGC (Northern California Planned Giving Council). She holds the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation, a J.D., and LL.M. in International Law.

XuanThu is the Director of RedRadish Marketing, a marketing consultancy that provides web marketing, product positioning, and creative marketing campaign services to technology startups, SMBs, integrated marketing agencies, and nonprofit organizations. She has a strong interest in finding the creative ways that design, technology, and life intersects - and how it can help promote important causes. She is the producer of Everyday Voices, a feature story program highlighting unique individuals and their lives, talents and thoughts.
XuanThu has a B.S. in Business Administration from the McLaren School of Business from the University of San Francisco with an emphasis on international marketing and a minor in Mandarin. She has been featured in literary children's magazines and continues to read contemporary and folk stories for her nephew, nieces, and children of all ages to enjoy.
Wesley Hedden, Philanthropy Curator
Wesley has been in Southeast Asia working in education and disaster management since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, Wesley taught English at Can Tho University in the Mekong Delta of Viet Nam. From 2007 to 2008, Wesley worked for Heifer Project International Viet Nam where he worked on projects related to marketing local handicrafts and HIV/AIDS research and training. From 2008 to 2009, Wesley worked as internship coordinator for an educational program in Burma/Myanmar and was involved in Nargis relief efforts. Wesley is currently the Organizational Development Officer for a local disaster risk reduction organization in Anlong Veng, Cambodia. Wesley spends his summers working as a group leader and facilitator for international high school students volunteering in Vietnam through the program Visions Service Adventures. Wesley graduated from Tulane University in 2006.
