Philanthropy and Social Investment in the Asia Pacific Forum, Sept 14 – 15. Asia-Pacific Centre for Social Investment & Philanthropy, Melbourne Business School, supported by Philanthropy Australia. Speakers include Christine Edwards (Myer Foundation), representatives from AusAID and ACFID, Andrew MacLeod (Principles for Social Investment) as well as case studies from IWDA, Marie Stopes, plus private philanthropists. Stimulating Philanthropy, Sept 16. The STEP HK branch Philanthropy Group exists to help build a community of philanthropy advisers and charities professionals. The purpose of this conference is to provide professional devleopment support to those involved in all aspects of philanthropy, and to help participants understand some major changes taking place in the area of philanthropy in Hong Kong and globally.
