ASrIA. Membership association dedicated to corporate responsibility and sustainable investment practice in the Asia Pacific region.

American Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. Forum for Americans engaged in business in China, working with Chinese and US government authorities to help foster constructive commercial relations between the two countries.

American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. Supports the success of members by promoting a healthy business environment in China, strengthening US-China commercial ties, and providing high-quality business information and resources.

CSR-Asia. CSR Asia is the leading provider of information, training, research and consultancy services on sustainable business practices in Asia.

China CSR Magazine. Magazine that provides Corporate Social Responsibility news and information for China.

Asia

Asian Venture Philanthropy Network. AVPN seeks to grow and develop the venture philanthropy movement across the Asia Pacific region.

Australia

Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies, Queensland University of Technology Business School. Provides research, education, and degrees in philanthropy and nonprofit studies, principally focused on Australia

Philanthropy Australia. National association representing Australia’s leading private, family, corporate and community trusts and foundations.

Cambodia

Corporation Committee for Cambodia. CCC operates as a recognized membership organization by facilitating cooperation and supporting members on issues of common concern for NGOs; providing current information services; strengthening relationships with the Royal Government of Cambodia, effectively influence policy and practice related to aid and development; and collectively representing NGOs to influence donors.

NGO Forum on Cambodia.  The Forum is a membership organization of 73 full member NGOs working in Cambodia.  It promotes information sharing and debate among NGOs on issues of importance to Cambodia’s development.

China

China Foundation Center.  CFC is an independent non-governmental information disclosure platform of foundations. It manages a foundation directory database and provides market research of the sector, including a foundation transparency index.

Global Philanthropy Commons. A website/blog aimed to connect Chinese philanthropy to global philanthropy.

Hong Kong

Wisegiving.  WiseGiving is an initiative of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. It aims to enhance charity accountability and transparency in Hong Kong. The online platform encourages charitable organizations to voluntary register and provide information about their work. It also allows donors to create and manage a charity account and support causes they care about.

India

Karmayog, Centre for the Advancement of Philanthropy. The Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy (est.1986) is a resource Centre specializing in areas of not-for-profit law, taxation, financial management, resource mobilization and Human Resource Development.

ProPoorThe organization’s mission is to empower NGOs, donors, and individuals by providing the tools to connect and facilitate exchange of information.  The site contains information about South Asian NGOs, funding agencies, events, projects, etc.

Japan

Japan Foundation Centre (JFC). Centre provides information on Japanese grantmaking foundations.

Korea

Beautiful Foundation. Foundation promoting philanthropy in Korea. Established by Wonsoon Park to encourage all Koreans and people worldwide to give 1% of their resources to charity

New Zealand

Philanthropy New Zealand. Membership organization representing private trusts and foundations.

Philippines

Association of Foundations (Philippines). Provides services and information on foundations in the Philippines.

League of Corporation Foundations (LCF). Mobilizes business sector in the Philippines to work with communities and partner institutions on sustainable development programs.

Philippine Business for Social Progress. Private, national, and non-profit, corporate-led foundation that encouraged business sector commitment to social development.

Singapore

Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship & Philanthropy at NUS. Conducts basic and applied research in social entrepreneurship and philanthropy. Promote education in social entrepreneurship and philanthropy through course and practical learning experiences.

Center for Non-Profit Leadership. A Singapore organization that provides workshops to improve nonprofit leadership.

Give Singapore. A nonprofit launched in 2010 for cause-based giving by individuals in Singapore that raised $1 million SGD its first year

Singapore National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre. National body established to promote volunteerism and philanthropy in Singapore, working in partnership with the public, people, and private sectors.  They have an extensive director of nonprofits in Singapore along with eMatch, a volunteer directory that matches volunteers with nonprofit groups.  

Taiwan

Himalaya Foundation. Foundation promoting the development of Taiwan’s nonprofit sector.

Taiwan Philanthropy Information Center. Provides a listing of NPO reports, including overviews of Taiwan’s philanthropy sector. Information updates ended in 2003.

Directory of 300 Foundations in Taiwan. Provides a listing of the major foundations in Taiwan. Information is only updated up to and including 2002.
